Escuminac Great Harvest Maple Syrup 200ml

Produced in the Escuminac region of Quebec. The unique location of the sugarwood which is located less than 5 km from the sea, is swept by the salty air of the Gulf of St. Lawrence which gives a subtle saltiness to the syrups. Traditionally maple syrup is blended to standardise the colour and flavour as syrup produced at different stages of the season can vary in colour from light amber to very dark with an accordingly light to rich flavour and aroma. 

Escuminac syrups are instead bottled according to the stage of the season to give you the option of colour, flavour and aroma!

Great Harvest (Red Wax): Produced from the main harvest, this amber coloured syrup is smooth and richly flavoured. Its aromatic profile brings to mind warm buttered brown sugar, date purée, English toffee and green anise with a subtle hint of curry.
